ITM - Nicola Scharrer

Head of Marketing & Communications

Nicola Scharrer, Dipl.-Biol., Dipl.-Wirtsch.-Biol. (MBA) has been Head of Marketing & Communications at ITM since 2016. Prior to this Nicola worked in several oncology focused biotechnology companies such as Omnicare and MagForce as well as for the biotech networking organization BioM.

Nicola holds a Master´s Degree in Molecular Biology as well as a Master´s Degree in Economical Biology from a 2 year fulltime MBA program, both from the Technical University of Munich. With more than 15 years experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry in the field between research and entrepreneurship, Nicola has developed a deep understanding of products and therapies, a broad expertise of the industry as a whole as well as a large network of international and national key opinion leaders in industry, science and governmental institutions.
